A group of Nyiyaparli people have visited NANA Pacific in a trip funded by the Myer Trust.
Natalie Parker, Brock Parker, Tianna Dunn and Edith Hall embarked on their adventure, hosted by Senior Vice President of NANA Pacific, Charlie Curtis, in August 2016 and visited the company's headquarters, Anchorage.
The quartet also headed to remote villages to meet with local communities before travelling to Washington DC and Colorado Springs.
The journey allowed the group to tour facilities and communities in order to observe and learn key messages in social and economic development in which NANA is so successful.
This enabled them to gain a great understanding of the best practice programmes and economic development across the continuum, which was a very important part of the study tour in order to reflect on the similarities and differences amongst cultures.
